Grand Geneva Resort & Spa Hosts 2017 Wedding Showcase on January 14

LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (January 5, 2017) – Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is setting the stage for a Wedding Showcase on Jan. 14, presenting brides and grooms with the buzziest 2017 trends featuring a top-tier coterie of the region’s premier vendors with complimentary canapes and champagne. Getting “aisle style” at the bucolic resort has never been so elegant, or so easy.

“Showcasing our top-tier local vendors and providing soon-to-be newlyweds with all the latest wedding trends is an extension of Grand Geneva’s commitment to elevating guest services,” said Catering Sales Manager Heather Dahlman. “We are truly a destination for creating unforgettable occasions, and aim to customize every event with unique flair.”

The showcase is a festive opportunity to tap Wisconsin-based vendors including photographer Matt Mason, Ideal Impressions Photography, Gia Bella Flowers & Gifts, Lilypots florals, Flowers by Joseph and Frontier Flowers of Fontana. The haute 2017 trend forecast includes color palettes of dusty blue, red combined with dark grey, and mauve mixed with navy blue. On the themed decoration front, it’s all about boho chic, magical forest greenery and the new neutral, where ivory and white provide a dreamy backdrop.

“Grand Geneva is a magical setting for weddings, and this showcase delivers what’s new, now and next for custom-tailored ceremonies and receptions that will create memories as cherished as our newlyweds’ vows,” said Dahlman. “Every detail matters.”

The New Year wedding special is Pick 2 Perks, where two extra perks are provided to newlyweds who spend a $10,000 minimum on food and beverage. Valid through January 31, the couple can choose two complimentary enhancements including:

  • Complimentary upgrade to a premium open bar with an open bar package
  • Complimentary 1-night anniversary stay to celebrate the first year
  • Complimentary upgrade to a Premier Suite for the couple on their wedding night
  • 20% discount on a WELL Spa service for the bride or groom

Couples who purchase $20,000 on food and beverage will receive a $500 gift card to use anywhere at the resort during their wedding weekend in addition to the pick two option above.
