Historic Skirvin Hilton Celebrates 10 Years as Oklahoma City’s #1 Hotel

The Skirvin Hilton, the #1 hotel in Oklahoma City, Okla., today announced it is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its reopening. In 2007, Marcus Hotels & Resorts and Skirvin Partners in Development completed a $55 million renovation and restoration of this historic landmark, returning the property to its former glory as the social center of Oklahoma City. Now, 10 years later, the Skirvin Hilton is currently ranked among the top five Hiltons in the Americas.

The Skirvin Hilton’s anniversary celebration will include festivities including:

• Throughout the month of February, guests who stay two nights at the regular price can stay an additional night for only $10 by booking here.
• Park Avenue Grill will be serving $10 lunch specials, Monday through Friday – designed with the Skirvin’s storied past in mind. A percentage of proceeds from the lunch special will be donated directly to The CARE Center, a nonprofit organization that provides support to children and families.
• The Red Piano Lounge will offer a $10 signature martini throughout the month. Starting February 24, for an additional $10, guests can take home a Red Piano logo martini glass – with all profits going directly to The CARE Center.
• The celebration will culminate on Friday, February 24 from 12:00pm-6:00pm as the hotel invites all friends and neighbors for complimentary anniversary cake, punch and coffee inside the Skirvin Hilton hotel’s newly renovated lobby. Guests can enjoy a historical tour, walk the event space, or view newly renovated guest rooms as part of the most recent $4 million renovation.

The Skirvin Hilton has been the backdrop for many significant events, including weddings, galas and celebrations. The Skirvin Hilton is asking guests with a beloved Skirvin story or memory to share their stories. Ten favorite moments will then be chosen and published on the Skirvin Hilton’s website.
