New Sales Leadership Strengthens Marcus® Hotels & Resorts Group Book Efforts

When it comes to hosting successful meetings, Marcus® Hotels & Resorts has more than 55 years of expertise in the Milwaukee area. To continue to strengthen its efforts, the company recently announced the promotion of Dana Johnson from assistant director of sales to director of sales for the Milwaukee market. In this role, Johnson oversees group sales for Marcus Hotels & Resorts’ Milwaukee properties – Hilton Milwaukee City Center, InterContinental Milwaukee and The Pfister Hotel. In addition to Johnson’s promotion, the company named Megan Seppmann as new assistant director of sales for the Milwaukee market.

Dana Johnson Marcus Hotels and Resorts

With more than 25 years of experience working in hotel group sales, Johnson has spent the majority of her career – 15 years – with Marcus Hotels & Resorts. She began her career with the company in the sales department at The Pfister Hotel and was an original member of the sales team supporting the broader Milwaukee-area Marcus Hotels & Resorts properties. In 2013, Johnson was promoted to assistant director of sales, where she excelled in developing new members of the sales team and maintaining strong relationships with several key corporate accounts.

Megan Seppmann MArcus Hotels & Resorts

Seppmann joins the Marcus Hotels & Resorts sales team with more than 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry. As assistant director of sales, she will work alongside a talented group of sales leaders to showcase Marcus Hotels & Resorts’ downtown Milwaukee properties. Prior to working at the company, Seppmann served at several properties owned or managed by CSM Corporation, a Minneapolis-based property management company. While with CSM Corporation, she was director of sales and marketing at the Residence Inn by Marriott located in Milwaukee and senior sales manager at the Courtyard by Marriott Bloomington located in Bloomington, Minnesota. She also held senior sales roles at Kahler Hospitality Group properties in Rochester, Minnesota and at three hotels in Mankato, Minnesota. Seppmann received a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Southwest Minnesota State University.
